Walter B. Forbes, USAF Fighter and Transport Pilot in three wars and 2009 inductee into the Air Zoo's Michigan Aviation Hall of Fame. Born in Niles, Michigan and currently residing in Kalamazoo, Colonel Forbes served as a USAF pilot in World War II, Korean War and Vietnam. As an Air Zoo volunteer tour guide his stories have captivated visitors for years. With Memorial Day right around the corner patrons are invited to remember our veterans during this special program sponsored by the Friends of Ransom District Library.

Magician Jeff Wawrzasczek will offer his legendary magic show in the late morning. After a break for lunch, Jeff will provide a hands-on magic workshop for elementary school kids, and then one for tweens and teens. Some may want to register for both workshops!
