3D Printing
3D Printing takes a computer file of a digital object and converts it into something that can be ‘printed’ layer by layer using filament fed through a heated nozzle. The filament cools on contact with the air and becomes solid, slowly revealing the model.
If you have questions about this program or need suggestions for good books to read to your preschool child, ask staff for assistance.
Find something cool at thingiverse.com or design something yourself at tinkercad.com. Then contact the Design Lab tlong@ransomlibrary.org to help you bring it to life!
